+ Water Puppet Show: It is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century CE when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam.

Activities for today: Pick-up at your hotel at 7.00, then transfer 90 km on a good road by car to Ninh Binh. Arrival Cuc Phuong National Park after about 2,5 hrs. Visit the Rescue Center where we will see and learn about many different endangered species. After that, we head up with a long trek (18km) through the rain forests, with the picnic lunch served on the way. After 5 hours hiking, learning about fauna and flora, with sightseeing en route, we arrive at a village of Muong minority people. Check-in stilt house and relax. Free to talk with the host and learn about the Muong people’s life. Overnight at the stilt house.

+ Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam’s largest national park and one of the most important sites for biodiversity in the country. It is homes to hundreds of species of flora and fauna. The park can be visited from Hanoi as a day trip or visitors can stay at the park’s lodging for a longer stay. Visiting the park is a terrific opportunity to get a close look at Vietnam’s nature and fees generated from tourism help protect the parks wildlife and improve the local economy. The best time of the year to visit the park is during the dry season, from November to February.

Activities for today: Breakfast served at the village then say goodbye with the villagers before our short trek of 4 km to the road where we will get picked up and transferred to Mai Chau village. Enjoy beautiful mountain view on the way, Have lunch at Lac village in Mai Chau and take a rest. In the Afternoon, take a short trek to visit Thai people around to understand the daily life of ethnic people. Enjoy Thai traditional music, dancing, drinking tube wine. Overnight in Mai Chau village.

+ Mai Chau Valley is set in the stunningly beautiful, mountainous region of Hoa Binh Province, 135km south west of Hanoi. Many of Vietnam's indigenous ethnic minority groups live in the region, making the local Sunday markets colourful places to be! Throughout the week the region provides an excellent base for light trekking or cycling, thanks to the picturesque valleys and rice paddy terraces, the friendly locals and the many small villages that make ideal destinations to break from your day's activities.

Activities for today: Drive to Hoa Binh city, take a walk around to perceive the beauty of mountainous area then take a boat trip along Song Da (Da river) and visit local people. Back to Hanoi.
